// GTA / Toronto — onsite dispatch
Onsite network infrastructure, done properly
Cable management, rack builds, network configuration, wireless, cameras, access control and IoT at your site — the same work I've done at JYSK, IBM and Greenfield Global across Canada. I show up, I fix it, and I leave the cabinet tidier than I found it.
Services
01One person, on site, doing the whole job — the physical layer, the configuration on top of it, and the devices hanging off it.
Patch panels, structured cabling, dressing and labelling. Cleaning up a cabinet nobody has touched in years is half the job.
New rack builds, equipment mounting, PDUs and cable routing — installed and documented.
Router and switch configuration, including console and serial access to gear that won't come up on the network.
Indoor and outdoor access points, mounted and configured where the coverage actually needs to be.
Displays, AV equipment, cameras and NVR/DVR systems — installed, cabled and configured.
Gate and door controllers, readers and strikes — installed, wired back to the head end and tested.
Sensors, controllers and connected endpoints, brought onto the network properly instead of bolted on.
Onsite OS, application and firmware installs, imaging, and configuration of what the site actually runs on.
POS terminals, printers, workstations and network gear — installed, swapped out and upgraded on site.
When something breaks and nobody local can touch it, I'm the hands in the room with your team on the line.
Where I've worked
02Hands-on infrastructure work, newest first. See photographs of recent jobs ›
Daily IT operations across Ontario and Western Canada — systems and network administration, asset and inventory management, and cloud and AI development.
Migrated 120+ physical servers from datacentres to Azure VMs. Imaged, deployed and maintained hardware for nearly 400 users across two Toronto offices. On-site support for data and voice network outages and network migrations.
Voice and data networks for head office and 20+ retail stores across eastern Canada, on Mikrotik and Juniper routers with HP/Aruba switches. Built host monitoring covering 700 hosts nationwide. Travelled Canada-wide to open new stores.
Led a network infrastructure upgrade across 15 remote sites — redundant routers and firewalls at each, fibre mesh over the existing copper hub-and-spoke, and a cellular backup WAN link per site. Delivered full documentation: configs, VLAN switchport maps, topologies, inventory and wireless heat maps.
On-site and remote hardware and network support for employees.
